Mileage: 3 miles
Time: 32:50 -- 10:57 pace
11:11, 10:55, 10:44
Location: Trailwood Village
How I Felt: 7
Lacked motivated to get out the door. Extremely humid. No back pain. Hard run for only being 3 miles. Never "settled" into a rhythm.

Bill, you know it takes >3 miles for an ultra/distance/endurance runner to even get warmed up. :o)
Hang in there Bill, Vic is right about you ultra runners. It takes a while to get you going, then there's no stoppin ya!
I have been pretty blah myself, I think it's the weather and holiday poor eating/lack of sleep...Let's just hang tough.

I agree with Vic! Your negative splits tell me that you were just warming up! I think you need at least 6 miles to settle into any kind of rhythm! :)
Amen to all of the above. We definitely do not need this weather for Saturday.
You aren't going to feel really great in your debut marathon until about mile 5. The next 10 miles will be the best of your life. What happens after that is a function of your training.

Hmmmm....but at the 26.2 mile marker, everything feels great! Keep truckin' Bill and enjoy your debut!
I agree with all of the above! hang in there...you are almost there and will have a great marathon day!
