Alison has a new cycling distance PR!!
We chose a 2-mile route to Schlotzski's for lunch. On the return trip we decided to take the long way home, which totaled 8.3 miles. Our average speed was close to 10 mph. Unfortunately, there are lots of roads and business driveways to stop at, which made our 'official' average speed 8.4 mph. With two kids in tow, I'm primarily concerned for their safety rather than our average speed.
Preston also tagged along in his bike seat. He must have been comfy, because he slept most of the bike ride.

Most of my day was spent overhauling the garage. Lots of hard work, but it is nice to see it clean and somewhat organized!
