Its been a long, bumpy, challenging road, but today I met the first of my weight loss goals. Sure, a bit of this is water loss from last night's run, but

Hey, you were rehydrating just fine at The Great Charcoal Chicken, go ahead and consider it real, permanent weight loss from a nasty but satisfying workout. Did you sleep well?
Believe you've reached several other important milestones. A couple are mindset-related, to wit: "Tomorrow we're *** only doing 10 miles ***" and "I regularly train at 9:xx pace." Best milestone, of course, is the celebration of another year of marriage :-)
